Border Color

The BorderColor property specifies the color that should be used for drawing a rectangular border around the Control. Note: the border will not be visible unless the BorderStyle and BorderWidth properties are also set.

Possible Values

Color Pallete, TColor

TColor HTML Hex colors are defined using a hexadecimal notation which specifies the combination of Red, Green, and Blue color values (RGB).

The lowest value is 0 (hex 00). The highest value is 255 (hex FF).

Hex values are written as 3 double digit numbers, starting with a # sign.

note: The color property can only be applied to controls which have had no effects associated with them, as the compiler turns such controls into images at compile time.

FX Code

textLabel3.borderColor := #CC33CC;

hint: If you type code like this in the editor and set caret to the color constant, it will show small blue rectangular area under it, which can be used to launch the color dialog.
